Sports and leisure facilities available includes 3 swimming pools, sun terrace with loungers, sauna, jacuzzi and gym. There is also a games room, table tennis, pool tables and a tennis court. There is also a daytime and evening entertainment programme.

For the younger guests there is a section of one of the main pools, a play ground, kids club for 4 - 13 year olds and a entertainment programme.

The hotel provides a buffet style restaurant, snack bar, pool bar and a lounge bar for guests.

Barcelo Varadero Hotel is situated just 600m from the unusual black sandy beach and 400m from the resort centre where a selection of shops and restaurants can be found. The airport is approx 30 km away.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served buffet style in the main restaurant with snacks available at selected times during the day.
